Our Zero-Trace Document Privacy Promise
Customer documents uploaded through PrintKaro are strictly ephemeral. Files are buffered solely to transmit to the counter printer spooler, and are automatically and permanently deleted from our cloud servers immediately upon print completion.
1. Information We Collect
We collect only the minimum information necessary to execute print orders and manage agent accounts:
- Customer Data: Phone number (used exclusively for SMS/WhatsApp order lookup and print status), file name, page count, and transaction identifier.
- Shop Owner / Agent Data: Business name, owner name, contact number, email address, and IP address for security logging.
- Payment Data: All payments are processed through Razorpay. We never store full credit card numbers, CVVs, or net-banking credentials on our servers.
2. How Document Data is Handled
- End-to-End Ephemeral Streaming: Uploaded PDF, JPG, and PNG files are stored with randomly generated hash paths.
- Immediate Post-Print Deletion: The moment the counter agent reports the job has spooled successfully, an automated trigger deletes the file permanently from storage.
- No Content Mining: We do not inspect, index, sell, or retain the contents of your documents or photos.
3. Cookies & Local Storage
We use essential session cookies to authenticate shop owners and remember kiosk upload configurations. We do not use third-party tracking cookies for behavioral advertising.
4. Data Protection Compliance
We adhere to India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDPA 2023) and Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules. Users may contact our grievance officer to request account data deletion or inquire about data practices.
